All cultural understanding begins with self-understanding. That might seem obvious, but how well can you explain what you define as ‘normal’ and ‘typical’? And have you explained your preferences to your colleagues around the world?
These are some of the questions we address at this dynamic and interactive 1-day global mindset and cross-cultural collaboration training.
During the training you'll become much more aware of your own cultural baggage. This is essential to finding the key differences between your own culture and other cultures you're working with and learning how to deal with them constructively.
The training will equip you with practical and powerful tools to improve your cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
You'll also learn to recognize the typical pitfalls when you work together across borders and cultures – e.g. when you negotiate, hold meetings, enter into agreements or train colleagues. And you'll learn how to avoid the pitfalls – so you can save time and achieve greater success in your day-to-day tasks.
The training will be conducted in English unless all participants speak Danish.

Registration and purchase:
You can enrol on this course when it is available. Advance reservation by email to email@example.com.
When enrolling, you must state the following information on the participant:

Please also enter your name, company name, email address and your purchase order number, invoice details or similar.
A binding agreement between the buyer and Danish Shipping Academy has been entered into when Danish Shipping Academy confirms the enrolment by confirming receipt by NemTilmeld.
Deregistration and transfer:
Deregistration must be done at your earliest convenience through the confirmation email you received upon registering. If you have any problems deregistering please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
In order to maintain a sufficiently high quality of our courses, we reserve the right to cancel courses. Should this happen, we will offer a place on the next available course with the same content.
In case of cancellation of a course due to an extraordinary and unpredictable event (force majeure – e.g. war, civil unrest, an act of terror, general strike, epidemics, pandemics and other global health crisis) we will offer a place on the next available course with the same content.
Payment of invoice:
The full course fee will be charged after the course. The payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice.
In order to book you are required to provide the following information on the participants:

The above data will be stored for five years together with the course details.
No information will be disclosed or sold to a third party, unless this is done in connection with a restructuring or whole or partial sale of the company. Any disclosure in such a situation will occur in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.
