Danish shipping companies operate in a rapidly changing world where new trends and technology offer both opportunities and threats. To help our members prepare for an uncertain future, Danish Shipping has developed a new four-day study program for maritime professionals, who are employed by a Danish shipping company.
The Maritime Disruptors Academy is developed in collaboration with the consultancy DareDisrupt and supported by the Danish Maritime Fund.
During a four day seminar split into two separate modules of two days, the participants will gain an overview of the new technologies and trends that will likely shape the future of shipping and develop the tools and methods to navigate these developments. The program is a mix of lectures and workshops where the participants work in groups.
The Academy is customized for shipping employees that are either in a leadership role or are directly involved in strategy or business development. In addition, top students from the maritime programs at DTU and CBS will participate on an equal footing with the more experienced participants to challenge the industry views and perspectives, while also attracting new talent to the industry.
